It is time for the July Beauty & The Book Giveaway! July has gotten off to a slow start, we've been getting outside a bit more enjoying the summer weather and I've also been working on my car which has taken a bit of time away from my blog. However I do have some fun posts planned! Along with new giveaways on the way.
This month's giveaway features a hard cover copy of "A Book of Spirits and Thieves" by Morgan Rhodes, who is one of my favorite authors. I absolutely love her series "Falling Kingdoms" so when I found out she had other books I started adding them to my collection and decided to pick up an extra copy of this for my monthly giveaway. This book is full of magic and adventure.
Also included in this prize pack is a pineapple journal, hand lotion, a hair mask, a facemask, Elf hydrating primer, a pair of false lashes, a nail file, a new eyeshadow brush, two bottles of nail polish,a small Elf eyeshadow set, a green eyeshadow by Orglamix, a cute bow dust plug for your phone and there is a bonus item this month:
I normally host these giveaways myself however this month I decided to include an extra surprise goodie to this months bundle. This month I am working with a co-host which is Groove Life Rings! I recently worked with them on a review which can be found here, I have worn my ring everyday since I received it because of how much I enjoy it. I am excited to say they have agreed to offer this months winner any one ring of their choice from their website.
One lucky winner is going to win all of the goodies in this month's Beauty & The Book Giveaway along with a ring of their choice from Groove Life.
This is open World Wide only! Please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. The summer can be a lot of fun because it means no school, pool days and vacations! Though the summer heat can be a bummer so to help keep cool you should treat yourself to a cold sweet treat. My family and I recently went to check out a frozen yogurt shop called Froyo Crazy which is located off of 83rd Ave and Deer Valley in Peoria. The shop was recently purchased by a new owner and is open six days a week (closed Tuesdays), The owner Lisa is often in store and is more than happy to answer any questions about the shop, she is a very sweet woman and quite helpful. The shop was easy to find and there was plenty of parking out front.
Froyo Craze sells Yogurt bowls, smoothies, froyo pies and more! Before heading in I suggest checking out their facebook page for any weekly deals they often have $5 medium fill up bowls. We thought they had a good selection of flavors, I ended up going with the New York cheesecake flavor because I love cheesecake. The machines were easy to use and if you were wanting to try out a flavor before committing to it they had small little taster cups so you are able to try it first. They had one called Blue Moon that I wanted to try out, it was kind of tropical with a bit of cotton candy, however a little too fruity for me so the cheesecake worked out perfectly.
After picking out your Froyo flavor you take your bowl over to the toppings station and select what you want on your Froyo. There are three different sections with a few dozen topping options (There is another additional station aside from the two shown above), there is also a sauce station with caramel, chocolate, hot fudge and more. They had a few toppings I had never tried before which I thought was neat because it gave everyone options. My kids had so much fun picking out their own toppings! They made some interesting mixtures on their Froyo. We were able to decorate our own take home Froyo pie as well!
The store was really cute! I enjoy the color scheme and the atmosphere as a whole. I mean look at how adorable the accent wall above is with the little cow mascot, if you want to eat your Froyo in shop they have a seating area with both tables and a sofa where you can find some small games to play and a Pac-man machine. We managed to sneak in right before the rush started, it seems like a pretty popular stop and I really enjoyed my cheesecake froyo with toppings.
Want to win some FREE Froyo? I have a giveaway up on my facebook page, feel free to stop by and enter.
