Color to your heart's desire Giveaway!

Recently as a Christmas gift I received a adult coloring book and some coloring pencils, and I have to say I absolutely love them. When I was a kid I loved to color then when I was a teen I didn't do it often until I had kids then I started to color when they wanted to color. My fiance would joke isn't that for kids in a playful way but in a way it was true because the coloring pages are geared towards kids so they are simple. The adult coloring book I received is very detailed and has lots of small spaces, shapes and patterns for you to fill in and it takes quite some time to complete if you want to make the page as colorful as possible. The coloring book I received is called The Secret Garden, not only is it a coloring book but there are also hidden images you can look for, incomplete pages you are asked to doodle then color in and more.

I like to color in my free time which some days is very little compared to others, during the time I've had this coloring book I've completed two whole pages. It seems like very little but the pages are pretty big and packed with a lot to color, if you do patterns such as the leaves I colored above it can take you longer than just coloring it in a single color. Coloring is over all relaxing and helps take my mind off of things like bills, and work.

I want to help someone else kick back and relax to take their mind off of everyday stresses so I am going to be giving a coloring book package to one of my lovely readers.

Prize Alert:

One lucky winner is going to win The Secret Garden coloring book, A second adult coloring book that doesn't have an actual name, a set of Gel pens and a $50 Amazon GC to buy coloring pencils or crayons/markers of your choice. This is open International

Ecocentric Mom - Pregnancy box Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Ecocentric Mom  for the review  free of charge.****

Ecocentric Mom is a monthly subscription box that offers products that are useful to your everyday life, healthy and fun. The boxes are directed towards where you are in motherhood you can select from the pregnancy box, the mom & baby and the mom subscription box and you can switch anytime you would like to a different box. Every box contains 5-9 sample and full sized products, you can purchase the box for $24.95 monthly or opt for a longer subscription length which will bring the cost down to $22 a month. All plans are auto-renewing so if you only plan on buying a year subscription and do not wish to continue after your year is up remember to opt out otherwise you will automatically be billed for 12 months again.

For my review I received the Pregnancy box, no I am not pregnant this is what they had available at the time and I do have friends who are that will use the products I do not have a use for. The box I received had a Peeper Keeper which is a cream that helps fine lines in the eye area and can also be used for chapped lips and cuticles this product is by the company Bee Naturals. A Lavender & Aloe Vera balancing organic toner by the company Angel Face Botanicals, A baby bump balm by a company called Pure Factory Naturals, Natural Feminine wipes by the company Healthy Hoohoo, a cute and handy tote bag by Loqi, Mama bottom balm by Earth Mama Angel Baby, Frontier bites in pineapple, and a baby music subscription from See Spot Sing.

The total amount for the samples and full sized products come out to a retail value of $68.44 which is great seeing as how the box was $24.95 which means you received your money back plus an additional $43.49 which is another box and a half. It is always fun getting to test out products before you buy them to see if you like them or not, because who wants to spend money on an expensive product they might not like? This box gives you a chance to test out new items every month which not only helps you find favorites along the way but they provide you with products that are good for you.

I think this box included a nice assortment of products for a pregnant woman each is useful in it's own way and they are all natural and healthy products. My two favorite products were the tote bag and the healthy hoohoo wipes. The bag is always a useful item and it can be used for anything, carrying baby things like diapers and clothing when you are on an outing, it can be used to bring home groceries or even be used just to store things in plus it folds up into a little bag that makes it easy to store. Every woman can use natural and healthy hoohoo wipes during that time of the month and even when it isn't that time of the month, sometimes it is nice to feel extra fresh and these wipes do just that. I also like the fact that the peeper keeper can be used for multiple purposes. My least favorite item was the facial toner and that is only due to the fact that I do not like the scent of lavender not because of the product itself. Another bonus is that if you do fall in love with one of the products in this box is that they provide you with discount codes on the information card included in the box so you can order more!

January '16 LootCrate Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by LootCrate for the review free of charge.****

I only liked half  of the January LootCrate box but my mother absolutely loved the half I didn't like, the theme for the month was "Invasion" and it featured a number of alien related products including a few X-files themed items. My mother was a big fan of The X-files when I was younger, but if I am being completely honest I didn't like one of the episodes scared me when I was little and after that I wanted nothing to do with that show.

The January box featured a X-files themed T-shirt, a Face hugger plush, a Space Invaders mini alien vinyl figure, a X-files flash light, a Multipass from the Fifth Element, a large rubber band, a set of batteries (for the flashlight), two mini posters and the monthly collectable pin.

My kids grabbed the face hugger right away because they thought he was cute and cuddly, if only they knew what face huggers were really like I don't think they would have been so fast to grab him and squish their face onto him. My favorite item was the Multipass, The Fifth Element was one of my favorite movies growing up and this brought back all the laughs and excitement I remember from watching the movie and it also made me want to watch it again since it's been a few years since I've played it.

I also love the mini posters, the images are crisp and clear and the colors are bright and vibrant, I can't wait to get frames for these and hang them up in my hallway. The flashlight I received in my box was broken and does not work, on the inside of the flashlight it is missing one of the metal springs that helps hold the batteries in and finishes the connection from one end to the other so that was slightly disappointing because I can use a flash light for my car. LootCrate is also stepping up their monthly collectible pin game, this month instead of having the small round metal pin which can easily break they had a sturdy metal pin which has more texture and shape to it then how they previously were, along with that each months pin unlocks something digital online. I am not completely sure what the rubber band is for, I think it was added to my box on accident since it doesn't go with any of the other goodies in the box and the monthly magazine didn't say anything about it.

LootCrate ships to the US,Canada,The United Kingdom and Australia. Loot Crate is $13.95 a month [plus $6 S/H] the site guarantees $30+ worth of goodies in your box You can sign up for just a one time box or you can sign up for 6 months to a years worth of boxes & you can use the code “LunaMoon10” you will receive 10% off of your purchase price. What do you think might be in Next months box?

December LootCrate Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by LootCrate for the review free of charge.****

The December LootCrate has been one of my favorite crates of 2015, The theme was 'Galaxy' and it was jam packed with some pretty awesome goodies. The December crate featured a Exclusive Star Wars Han Solo vinyl bobble-head, a Ugly Holiday sweater T-shirt, a Galaxy Quest authentic prop replica patch, Star Wars BB-8 crew socks, a Halo 5 Ammo Tin Box, a Halo:5 Guardians req pack and the monthly LootCrate collectible pin.

My favorite item was the BB-8 socks of course who wouldn't love that adorable little guy on their socks? I am a big fan of socks as well I own too many pairs for my own good, and I am happy to have him in my collection, the socks fit well and are very comfortable. I also got a kick out of the Galaxy Quest authentic prop replica patch because the movie is a great watch. The tin I can use for various things, I could put a present in it, keep lego's in it for the kids or a number of other things which is funny because at the moment I can't decide exactly what I want to use it for so it will sit empty for now. The shirt I found both adorable and hilarious because it mixes a geeky theme and those ugly Christmas sweaters you see all over the internet. As always everything was well made and holds up well, I look forward to seeing what LootCrate has in store next.

November LootCrate Box!!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by LootCrate for the review free of charge.****

Please excuse the late posting on this I've been away handling family matters. One of my favorite things that I look forward to every month is when my LootCrate arrives, you never know what you are going to get and every time opening that box feels like Christmas morning. Every month it is the same, I avoid any talk about that months LootCrate until it arrives aside from seeing what the theme will be I don't like to spoil the surprises so I wait patiently until the LootCrate arrives. Each month the crates are shipped on the 19th and arrive between the 20th-24th depending on where you live (international buyers may get it later than this).

The November LootCrate theme was 'Combat' and it featured a number of fun products including a Cute But Deadly magnet set, a Fallout 4 Vault Boy bobble head, TMNT Shredder sunglasses, The Hunger Games Mockingjay part 2 pin, Street fighter hyper looting comic book, A Cute But Deadly mystery figure and a monthly collectible LootCrate button.

My favorite thing in this box was the Cute But Deadly magnet set and mystery figure, I don't personally haven't played a lot of games by Blizzard I think these characters are highly adorable and couldn't wait to showcase these magnets on my fridge. My son loved the TMNT sunglasses and was excited to take them with us on our car ride the following day, I have to admit these glasses look slightly silly but they are fun to wear. All of the items in this box are well made and offer a fun assortment of products from different games/movies which is what makes the mystery so exciting because you can end up with almost anything in your LootCrate. If you are extra lucky you have a chance at winning the monthly Mega crate the November crate had goods worth over $2000 in it.
