Get ready because Fishmas is coming to the Arizona Sealife Aquarium! What is Fishmas? I am glad you asked, Fishmas is a fun Christmas event that will feature Santa scuba diving into the Ocean View exhibit at the Sealife Aquarium and will be checking to see who is on the naughty and nice lists this year.

I was recently invited to a special blogger preview to Fishmas and was able to attend during a dive session to see Santa. All of the children were able to get up close to the tank to see Santa and his Elf swimming with the fishes, and Santa brought his naught and nice lists along. Santa wasn't able to speak since he was under water after all so a friendly and very helpful staff member (who you know is on the nice list!) helped Santa by asking children for their names and then Santa would check the lists to see which they were on. The speakers were loud enough we were able to hear everything without a problem and quite enough it didn't hurt our ears.

All of the kids had a blast being able to see Santa in the tank with rays, turtles, sharks and other assorted fish swimming around next to him in a rather large tank that features a massive fish skeleton which is pretty fun to see. The event lasts for half an hour so be sure to get to the area a little early to make sure your kids are upfront and able to see Santa. This special early showing of Fismas was open to just a handful of bloggers and our families so the place was very quite and we were allowed to roam around looking at all the fish the aquarium has to offer including their newest guest a cute sea turtle.

The Arizona Sealife Aquarium has a large variety of fish to see and offers a unique and fun experience for the whole family, they have punch stations along the way where the children can stamp 'passports' to show the different areas they have visited which is exciting all on it's own. They also have a touching pool area where you can touch crabs, star fish and shrimp if the shrimp don't run away first and there is even a section with some non poisonous sea urchins which you are free to touch. I can honestly say it is a fun experience being able to touch the different creatures we don't normally get to see living in the desert, my favorite were the Starfish. Want to know what else the Arizona Sealife Aquarium offers? Well you will have to purchase some tickets and head over to see for yourself, I don't want to ruin all of the surprises.

Don’t miss out on a unique Santa visit this holiday season!
