August BarkBox Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by BarkBox for the review free of charge.****
My pooch can always tell when a package is for him, probably by the smell but it is surprising none the less. There are dozens of subscription boxes out there, most people only know about the subscription boxes that are for humans but don't know they also have them for pets. To me my pets are like my kids so I like to spoil them when I can and Bark Box helps me do just that! BarkBox will contain an assortment of toys, treats and chews and is customized to match your dog’s unique preferences from a survey you fill out about your dogs. If your pooch takes a liking to a certain item in the box and you want to order more of that product BarkBox makes it easy by letting you purchase more through their BarkShop.

Bark Box starts out at $29 for a single months box or $19 when you sign up for a twelve month subscription. The August box contained A Treat Planet turkey chew (retail $3), Bocce's Bakery chicken treats (retail $10),The Crump Group Inc. beef tender sticks (retail $8), True dogs LLC coke can (retail $9), and a Delca corporation watermelon (retail $11) which comes to a total of $41. Each month's box will contain around the same retail value if not more so it is a deal buying these boxes verses buying these treats separate especially if you buy the year subscription.

The True dogs LLC coke can is a toy that you stuff treats into for the dogs to play with, it is made from a thick rubber material and holds quite a few small treats. The dog on the left is just over a year old and he is pretty rough with his toys so it didn't take him long to get the treats out but he had a fun time doing so. The Delca corporation watermelon is plush squeaky toy which is a favorite of the dog on the right because he loves toys that squeak. With three dogs toys usually do not last long, the watermelon held out for about two weeks and the coke can lasted a little longer. The box as a whole was quite pleasing and the dogs seemed to enjoy everything that was included in the August box.
