MIYU Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by MIYU for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I am always interested in trying new beauty products normally I come across the normal eye shadow, blush, lip stick ect so I am excited to say I have found a product that is completely new to me. A company called MIYU Beauty sells a hydrating spray and beauty tea, and yes you read that right tea as in the beverage. They currently offer two lines which are the Hydrate Mi and De-Stress Mi lines both have their own unique flavors and have a beauty tea to pair up with the mist. This revolutionary beauty essence fuses the freshness of a facial mist with the rich nutrients of a serum, while imparting instant hydration to the skin.

For review purposes I received a Hydrate Mi Beatuy Essence and a sample of the Hydrate Mi Beauty Tea. The Essence is a mist or spray that you use at any time during the day, I find it helps wake me up in the morning because it has a very lovely scent but at night it also helps me sleep again because of the smell so it is a win-win. It has a scent made from green rooibos, goji berries, rose petals and snow pear essence how ever to me all I smell is the rose petals with a hint of the snow pear which is quite captivating. The tea is made from A light and fruity blend of green rooibos, goji berries, rose petals and snow pear essence and smells just as lovely as the essence mist does. The tea comes in little sachet and are prepared just how you would prepare any tea with some boiled water, it has a fruit yet tropical flavor to it.  Picture above are the Hydrate Mi Beauty Essence and De-Stress Mi Beauty Tea.

The package from MIYU arrived in a very timely manner and was well packaged to ensure it arrived in perfect condition. I personally love the packaging they choose for their products, they are delicate and strong at the same time and give off a small vintage feel to the way they are designed. My skin feels great after each use of the Hydrate Mi Beauty Essence and it is a product I would consider using again, Price wise it may not be something for everyone's day to day budget but I think it would be a great and beneficial product to splurge on as the bottles last for quite some time. A 2.7 FL OZ bottle is $32 depending on how often you use the product I would say the bottle will last 1-4 months.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to win a Prettea Little Tea Quartet Intro Kit, which has 2 sachets of both teas and one 15ml bottle of each Essence spray. [Shown Above] This giveaway is open to Canadian and Continental United States Residents, No P.O boxes please.

Geek Fire Labs Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Geek Fire Labs for the review free of charge.****

What does a summer in Arizona mean to me? It means dry skin, chapped lips and temperatures that can make you feel like your an ice cream cone melting which means I use a lot of lip balm and lotion to keep my skin in good condition during the summer months. I enjoy uniquely scented and flavors lip balms so when I came across a etsy shop called Geek Fire Labs and started reading the assorted balms they offered I knew I had to try them.

With so many options to choose from it was hard to decide which balm I wanted to try, after clicking around for a while I decided on the Harley Quinn Poison & Ivy Inspired Lip Balm. My package arrived in a timely manner and even had three extra balms included which was quite sweet and I was excited to have them in my balm collection which I am sure won't last long once the summer heat hits and I use them all. The Harley Quinn inspired balm is called "Hey Mistah J" and Smells like warm red velvet cake with smooth, white vanilla frosting it actually does smell how Red Velvet cake does after baking it is a delectable scent. Ivy's Poison smells like a crisp, green apple dipped in ooey-gooey caramel I use this one all of the time! It reminds me of those caramel apple lollipops that you get at Halloween. Each balm comes sealed and ready for use I personally love these balms and have told quite a few people about them, they don't leave your lips with an oily or waxy feeling which I absolutely can not stand in most balms. Head over to Geek Fire Labs and take a look at all of the balms they have to offer you!

Beech-Nut Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Beech-Nut for the review free of charge.****

My son is a year old and still has baby food from time to time depending on his mood, although he doesn't always enjoy the flavors the baby food comes in. I was recently invited to join a Beech-Nut campaign to review their new line of real food for babies. The slogan is "This is not baby food, This is Real food for babies" I received a cute wooden box with four of the flavors and a small USB drive.

My son really seemed to enjoy the Beech-Nut food for babies his favorite from the four was the Just Honeycrisp Apples which smelled delicious even to me some baby foods I can't stand the smell of but these all have a lovely scent. The only one he didn't seem to like is the Just Spinach, Zucchini & Peas as he has never been a fan of any of the three flavors but I am sure he will grow used to them over time. The jars are just right for a child of an older age since they eat more and the jars are the perfect shape to get all of the food out of without a hassle.

Along with food in jars the new line from Beech-Nut also offers Cereals, Pouches and Classic foods in a variety of flavors, sizes and stages for each development stage your child goes through. I plan on purchasing some of the pouches because they are convenient and almost mess free my kids both love using them. Head over to check out their new selection today to see what they have to offer for you and your child.

HoneyBaked Review & Giveaway!

*** The opinions stated in this post are solely my own and may vary from others, The opinions on the product are my truthful statements from how myself and my family views the products. The products mentioned below have been provided by http://www.honeybakedforyou.com/ for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

It is officially April 1st which means Easter is on it's way, and yes my family is already asking what we are doing, who's house were gathering at and wanting to know what we are eating. A great solution to our 'What should we eat?' question is HoneyBaked who sells delicious meats, sides and desserts for your holiday or every day needs. I recently participated in a HoneyBaked campaign in which I received a gift card to try out some of the foods from my local HoneyBaked, since I've never had their food I was excited to try it. We visited our local HoneyBaked located at 4635 East Cactus Road Phoenix,Arizona 85032 and was served by a nice employee by the name of Kasha.

I was surprised to find that not only did HoneyBaked offer a number of cooked meats and frozen items but they also had a Cafe where they served salads, sandwiches and more. I was unsure what to purchase so my fiance and I walked around looking at everything for a few minutes before deciding what to buy. The girl who was working offered a few friendly suggestions and let us know which she liked the best from what she has tried along with some helpful tips on how to serve the Turkey/Ham. I know they are most popular for their Honey Baked Ham but I am sorry to say we didn't purchase the Ham, shocking I know instead we went with the roasted Turkey which is coated with the same sweet, crunchy glaze as HoneyBaked’s signature Ham. We also picked up the following sides: Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Sweet Potato souffle, Potato Au Gratin and for dessert we got the Cinnamon Apples and a cheese cake sampler the total came to $84.26 not bad for everything we put together for a meal. Once everything was purchased we set out for my mothers house where I told my family to meet for dinner so we could try everything as a family, Two of the sides and a dessert needed to be placed in the oven and we also used the oven to heat up the Turkey.

Once everything was done cooking it smelled so good in the Kitchen everyone couldn't wait to dig in even the Easter bunny couldn't wait to get his fill of the food. Now comes the time for the Good, the Bad and the Bloated: The food review. The Turkey did wonderful with being reheated in the oven the hard honey coating melted slightly in the oven keeping the Turkey moist and tender, it was the best Turkey I've had in quite some time. The next favorite that everyone commented on was the Sweet Potato souffle which even my brother who hates sweet potatos loved and went back for a second helping, the Baked Beans were pretty scrumptious as well and you can see from the photos above it hard large chunks of bacon and not the flimsy fake bacon you find in a lot of processed or frozen products but wholesome thick bacon made in house. The two things that weren't really liked as much was the  Potato Au Gratin and macaroni salad, Why? The main comment on the macaroni salad was that there was too much mayo and the seasoning tasted off, as for the Potato Au Gratin it took quite some time to cook and didn't have a great taste or consistency other wise everyone loved the meal.

We were quite pleased how everything turned out even my beyond picky five year old had some Turkey and rolls with us and my one year old ate what ever we gave him happily enjoy the meal as well. Shortly after  everyone let their stomachs settle we had some Cinnamon Apples and assorted cheese cake, everyone felt bloated, full and happy after everything was said and done the kind of happy full you get when eating Thanksgiving dinner. The meal we purchased fed Seven adults and two children for $85 is a great deal for a good wholesome meal plus dessert we have all agreed that this Thanksgiving we are taking the easy and delicious road and purchasing from HoneyBaked again. The evening ended up with all of us sitting on the porch enjoying a nice sunset on full tummies. Since Thanksgiving is still a long ways off why not take advantage of the Easter sales and try some of their food this upcoming holiday? Don't forget to check out the coupons they are currently offering for your Easter Dinner needs.
