I love dressing up which is why Halloween is my favorite holiday and Comicon is my favorite event of the year, A big part of dressing up or being mysterious involves masks. There are many kinds of masks which give different effects you can look like an alien, or a mutant or simply wear an elegant black half face mask for a ball. I have received the chance to work with a terrific company called Success Creations who specializes in masquerade masks on a review and giveaway here on Burning Moon's Inside Advice.

For my review I was able to pick out a mask I liked, I choose the Poison Ivy mask. I was told they would also be including one mask of their choice for the review, I am always up for a surprise so I happily agreed and started to wonder which of their many attractive masks would be in the box. My packaged arrived quickly, upon opening it I found they not only sent one extra mask but two I squealed with delight. The Poison Ivy mask is perfect, the material used is vibrant green and shiny, the golden ivy leaves and gold glitter really stand out against the green. The mask also features several green gems and sparkly gold ribbon which holds the mask onto your head. I personally think this mask is perfect and No I am not saying it just for the review [If you have been a reader a while, You will know I am not afraid to state the things I dislike about products], After trying this mask on I told my fiance I thought this mask was made specifically for me. I have a small forehead and most masks leave too much space above my eyes near the brow area which can be quite uncomfortable at times, other masks sit wrong on my cheek bones this mask has the nose/forehead shaped more towards how the curves of a face actually work and it sits perfectly on my face.

The second mask was their Simone with side Peacock Feathers, this is a Luxury Black Laser Cut Metal Masquerade Bejeweled mask is adorned with crystal jewels. I have personally never had a metal mask in my collection so I was pleasantly surprised to find that the mask is light weight. All of the edges are rounded to prevent sharp edges which is always a plus no one wants to cut themselves on part of their costume. The peacock feather is rather large but matches nicely with the mask, I could see myself wearing this with my hair up in a bun or perhaps curls that are pinned back to allow the peacock feather room to sit. One of my favorite touches of this mask are the crystal jewels which line the brow and the rhinestone brooch accent give it a nice sparkle. This mask is secured with ribbon ties.

The third mask included in the package is the Fancy Masquerade - Black-White, which features a fun black and white pattern. If you are looking for something simple but eye catching this mask does the trick my fiance is more inclined to wear this mask as the shape and size says 'Male' to me more than female but it can be worn by anyone. The fabric used is smooth and soft to the touch, it secures with an elastic band. I had a little trouble with the elastic band being too big at first but it was easy to figure out how to tighten it up. Success Creations offers dozens of masks from blank white masks to over the top masks which start at just $0.65 up to $140. The Poison Ivy mask retails for $22.97, the Simone with side Peacock Feathers retails for $29.97 with ties or $34.97 on a stick, and the black and white Fancy Masquerade retails for $11.99 they are sure to have something for any occasion. Head over to their website to see what they have to offer you. Which one is your favorite?
