Loot Crate August Box!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others.Products were Provided by Loot Crate for the Review free of charge****
I enjoy subscription boxes but not all of them are the same some can be quite lame for the prices they charge. With that being said I absolutely found my favorite subscription box that is worth the costs, gets me excited to receive every month & makes me giddy when I open it. That site is called Loot Crate which is a Geek/Gamer subscription box.
Last month I received a box which contained some Video Game High School goods, I kept some of it & shared the rest. At that very moment I was hooked & couldn’t wait to get this months box, I sat and patiently waited for August 19th to roll around, Every month the box for that month gets sent out on the 19th.  The theme for this month was “Cake” and it featured a picture of a piece of cake with a small square & a cherry being a gamer it makes you realize it was related to the video game “Portal” which is one of my personal favorite games. I discussed with friends online what could possibly be in it that was portal related.
What’s in the box for August? I received a Portal Lanyard [Which I will be using to hold my work ID badge for now on],a Portal bracelet, a set of Portal stickers, A Portal temporary tattoo, A Walking Dead mystery figure, A cute T-shirt,&  Jelly Beans. I let out a small squeal when I opened the box and spotted Portal goodies all of my pondering was correct there were in deed portal goods. The Walking Dead is a favorite TV show of mine so I was curious to see which zombie I would get in my Mystery Figure box, I received the Well zombie who actually pops in half. Maybe I can put red confetti inside so it explodes when someone unsuspecting opens it? If you want to see all of the pictures of what I received you can click HERE.
Being a gamer and quite the geek at times I love this subscription box site & look forward to seeing more of what is in their shipments. A hope would be to one day receive their “Mega Crate” each month one member of Loot Crate is picked to receive a “Mega Crate” which contains $250+ worth of goodies this month one of the big ticket items inside of it was a Life sized Portal gun replica. If you love video games, comics or just cute geeky items this monthly package is for you, You can sign up to receive just one month, or you can sign up for six months to a year. Don’t like everything that is in your box? Keep what you like and pass on what you don’t it will spread the wealth and the loot joy. Loot Crate is $13.37 a month [plus s;h] the site guarantees $20+ worth of goodies in your box, If you use the code “LunaMoon10” you will receive 10% off of your purchase price. What do you think might be in Next months box?

Mohzy Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others.Products were Provided by Mohzy for the Review free of charge****
Generally the cords in computer areas & behind TVs are a mess, I admit that from time to time when I go to unplug something it seems like all the black cords melt together and it is hard to tell which cord goes to what electronic. I have found an adorable solution to that problem, a website called Mohzy makes & sells a product called “Zoo cable ties”. Many people have heard about or own zip ties and know they are pretty plain so what makes this set so special?
The Mohzy Zoo cable ties feature fun colors and cute animals on each of the ties, helping you sort/label cords and clean up your cord area. They can be used on anything & everything from cords to pencils, they are so cute you will want to stick them on everything. Inside of each package you will find thirty cable ties [five of each animal] the animals in the tie pack are: A Tiger, A Duck, A Hippo, A Elephant, A Pig, & A Giraffe each with their own color. My personal favorite is the Pig and the Duck they are too adorable.

My first mission was to clean up the cords we have running near our front door, I tied them all together and attached them to the wall to prevent anyone from tripping over them. My apartment is set up oddly living room wise which makes it a pain for hooking things up these have helped save us from stepping on and tripping over the cable and internet cords. Each Zoo cable tie set sells for $7.99 plus shipping. Mohzy also sells USB/I-Phone cables & LED micro usb cable which are worth checking out. I am glad I found this company and look forward to using more of my Zoo ties.

Rich Art Giveaway & Review

One of my favorite things to do during the week is sit down & have an arts/crafts time with my four year old daughter. One of the activates my daughter likes best is painting whether it is on packing boxes, paper or small figures she loves it & goes through quite a bit of paint. As you can imagine I was very excited to receive the chance to work with a company called Rich Art Products on a review.
I was recently sent a package which contained Six bottles of paint & two large bottles of glitter glue. There was less than a five minute interval between when the box was open & when my daughter began pulling out her paint brushes she could wait to use the paints and glitter glue.  I like that the bottles of paint are easy for her to open, she likes being independent so not having to ask for help opening the bottle is a big plus for her. Some of the paints I have tried in the past either come out too thin or it comes out in a big thick blob, I found the Rich Art products were right in the middle it has a nice consistency. My daughter became quite wide eyed when she spotted the glitter glue normally we buy those tiny little tubes of glitter so she started happily freaking out at the size of these bottles.
Before being able to do this review I usually purchased my paints from Target but I don’t think I will be buying it from them anymore now that I have found Rich Art.
One lucky winner will receive a package just like the one I received!

Hello Products Giveaway & Review!

I am the type of person who frequently changes out my tooth brush through out the year to keep my teeth as healthy as possible. I was more than excited & willing to work with a company called Hello Products on a review of their oral health care products.
For my review I received a tooth brush, mouth spray & tooth paste in spearmint. The first product I tried was the mouth spray the bottle is cute & small, it is easy to carry around without clearly pointing out to people that you have it. I find the spray is great for work no one wants to smell like what they just had for lunch & when you aren’t able to brush your teeth mouth spray works perfect. The toothbrush is gentle on my teeth in the past when I have purchased a new tooth brush the first to sometimes the third time you use it, it feels hard on my teeth until I ‘Break’ it in. I didn’t have that issue with this tooth brush it was soft from the start & is now my favorite brand of tooth brush. The toothbrush has a slight bend in it which helps reach the back teeth properly.
The toothpaste was light and seemed to almost bubble when being used which felt nice on my teeth, Up until I used this toothpaste I never really noticed that some tooth pastes make my gums irritated in a way but I felt fresh, clean & happy while using this tooth paste. Since using it I have noticed a difference in how my teeth look and feel through the day it doesn’t seem like as much food or plaque sticks to them as with competitor tooth pastes. I enjoy the size/shape of the bottle along with the fact that the toothpaste ‘hole’ is shaped like a little flower so your tooth paste looks cute on your brush. If you are looking for a new brand of Oral health care to try out I suggest heading over and checking out the Hello Products website to see all of the products and flavors they offer.
One lucky winner will receive a Tooth brush,a Tooth paste & a mouth spray in their choice of flavor.

Loot Crate Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others.Products were Provided by Loot Crate for the Review free of charge****

If you are a video game, or comics lover & haven’t heard of the Loot Crate subscription then you are missing out. Once a month Loot Crate sends out a box stuffed full of wonderful goodies each with their own theme, some are video game related, some comic related or it would be related to a specific TV show or other theme such as ‘Cake’.
I am very happy to be part of the Loot Crate PR Team, Each month I will be sharing the contents of their wonderful boxes with you. I received July’s box which was themed ‘Video Game High School’ after a small internet series/show. The package included the first season of Video Game HS on DVD, & Related items including pins, a pencil, two stickers one said “Rocket Jump” the other is a storm trooper wearing a VGHS Letterman jacket, a Spider man pez dispenser & It also included C3PO Head phones & a Sonic Air Freshener that I can’t wait to stick in my truck.
Before receiving this package I had not heard of the series Video Game High School, after asking around about it for a bit I was told it was a fun & hilarious internet series. I haven’t been able to watch the whole series as of yet but so far from what I have seen it is a series I am going to enjoy. If you haven’t seen it yet either you should head over to Youtube & check it out, I hear they may be coming out with a season two soon. If it wasn’t for Loot Crate I may have never come across this series, not only do they send kick butt items to you ever month but you will also have the chance to discover new likes/loves just as I have done. Looking back at their past boxes I really wish I could have signed up for their box with a deadpool related shirt! Each box will vary a little from the next one person may get a Thor pez dispenser instead of a Spiderman but the main theme items are all the same.
Every month Loot Crate sends their monthly box out on the 19th,so if you are interested in buying a month or even starting a subscription head over to their site to see what they are all about. Their One year anniversary is this month so they will be celebrating with a special Cake themed box, I have heard that it has special cake related items & will include a T-shirt. Subscriptions start off at $13.37 a MONTH but you can use the code “Cake” to receive 12% off of your first purchase. Personally I think this is a fantastic deal all of the products they send out are worth way over the $13 charged for the months box & each purchase gives you a chance to win a Mega Box which has over $250 worth of products in it. Want to purchase a single box or a subscription? Click HERE to check out their site.

Cover Your Hair Giveaway & Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others.Products were Provided by Coveryourhair for the Review & Giveaway free of charge****
Aside from occasionally wearing a beret I don't like wearing hair accessories but when I am in the mood to buy something cute for my hair I enjoy browsing through it is where I received my favorite beret from. One of my favorite site features is that you can search their products by color! For a product review I received their Black Beautiful Cabbie with Diamond Buckle. The hat arrived in a timely manner & is quite adorable! Normally I have to buy smaller hats but this was a little snug on me which I like because I know it won't blow off when it is windy. There are a dozen hair accessories from Coveryourhair that I would like to own including the Black Comfortable Lite Studded Headwrap from the Women's Headbands section & the Black Winter Extra Fuzzy Ear Muffs. I think their products are well made & have great prices I would suggest their website to anyone looking for some fun new accessories for either summer or winter. They offer a lovely selection of Baby Hats,Baby Headbands,Head Scarves,Hair Clips & More.

One lucky reader will win a box of Mystery Hair Accessories valued at $25. You can give me three colors you would like your hair accessories to be. This is open to US Residents ONLY sorry!
