Life Update

I have been so busy lately time seems to be just flying by! I have been working on getting more posts written & posted along with Many new exciting giveaways I have headed your way. The good news is that our Truck engine is almost done & we should have it back within the next two weeks Yay!


We have recently added three new members to our family, My husband recently bought my daughter two Gerbils which she has named after her favorite Dragon Ball Z characters. The brown gerbil is named Goku & the Black one is named Vegeta. My birthday is coming up on May 6th so as an early Birthday present my husband bought me a Bearded dragon which we [Mostly him] decided to name Magmar. You can see our new family members below:

I have decided to work on a small side project at home,I have been thinking about what to do with the extras that come with my review items such as Sample sized products,Extra normal sized products,ect I normally give them to a friend of mine or distribute them through family. Thinking about it I could use the products for another giveaway on my blog which would be fun but I have thought of a better Idea to use these products for I will be collecting a large box of beauty products that I have extras of [Unopened,Unused shampoo,soaps,body wash,ect] & collecting them in a large box once I am done filling the box I will be dropping them off at my local food bank along with a box of non perishable food items! I used to read all of the time but as of lately it seems I have no time to sit down & relax let alone read though I did squeeze in some time to read The Barefoot Executive: The Ultimate Manual for Being Your Own Boss and Achieving Financial Freedom, written by Carrie Wilkerson. Scott's Liquid Gold Review

My computer monitor is very important to me not only because I use it for work,to edit photos,keep up with friends & more while on the computer but it was also a Christmas gift from my mother. When it comes to cleaning my computer monitor or TV screen I am picky about what I use so I always try a small "test" area first.

 

I was recently sent a package which contained a product called "Clean Screen" by a company called Scott's Liquid Gold. The kit comes with a 6.5 fl. oz bottle of spray which has No Alcohol & No Ammonia along with a microfiber cloth. The spray & cloth are easy and simple to use it produces no smell & dries right away I felt safe using this product on my computer monitor & TV screen without worrying about them becoming ruined or left with more streaks. The shipping was fast & I think the price is fantastic it is only $7.99 for a medium sized bottle which will last months maybe even the whole year. I have enjoyed using this product and look forward to using it more often.I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Simply Superheroes Review

My family & Friends know that I love Batman and I enjoy collecting Batman gear such as shirts,stickers,glasses,& more so when I found a website called Simply Superheroes I immediately fell in love with the website. Simply Superheroes offers Hundreds of Superhero themed items ranging from Batman to X-men.

I was recently sent a Batman Silicone Ice Tray to test out for a review. As soon as I received my package from Simply Superheroes I ripped the packaging open from excitement washed out the tray & then filled it with water to freeze and use in my drink. The water didn't take very long to freeze which is always a nice thing when it is hot out & you want ice in your drink. I do have to admit the tray was a little smaller than I had expected but I still love it and use it daily,I plan on buying the other Ice tray set from them as well. My favorite thing about Simply Superheroes is that the website is easy to search,the prices are great,the products are high quality,shipping is fast & they have very friendly customer service I will be buying many products from this website in the future.

Boutique Cascades Review

 

 I like toys that have more than one purpose so when I came upon a site called Boutique Cascades who offers fun cardboard items I knew I wanted to test out their product. I was recently sent the Cardboard Cat Chalet & Children’s Cardboard Playhouse.

 Both products arrived in a very timely manner we received them a few days before Easter but decided to wait & put up the play house on Easter day as a little treat the "Easter Bunny" left. The house was easy & fast to put together it was up in less than five minutes. My daughter loves this play house it is small enough it fits in the house, yet it is also large enough you can fit 2-3 kids under the age of six along with a few pieces of children's play furniture such as a chair or tables. The front of the house has a little Plant Pot Shelf in which we placed a Solar powered dancing flower. Over the course of the last few weeks my daughter,her cousin & two friends have been slowly coloring all over the house with crayons & markers even though they have doodled a lot there is still plenty of extra space. The thing I like most about this little house is how open it is other cardboard houses are stuffy & have little or no windows for the children to peep out of this house has windows,sun holes in the roof,holes in the door,ect giving the children plenty of light & breathing room.

 

Next we put together the Cardboard Cat Chalet which was also easy to put together & offered plenty of room inside for a few kittens or 1-2 full sized cats. It comes with a number of accessories to hang from the cat house such as a set of antlers,a fish & other fun cat related items. My cat enjoys sleeping in this house from time to time so it does get a decent amount of use.Boutique Cascades also offers a number of other fun cardboard items such as a Children's Cardboard Table,Cardboard Cooler Boxes & more all at reasonable & affordable prices the best thing about these products is after you get your use out of them you can recycle them.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Easter Weekend

I hope that everyone had a fun & safe Easter weekend, I know we did! We had a very busy but fun weekend my daughter had a blast looking for the treats the Easter Bunny left. Since we were worried about our little Princess N. having too much candy most of the eggs were filled with stickers,stamps,Toy figured,& other fun goodies that didn't revolve around chocolate. One of my favorite things to do when I am stressed out or feeling sore is to take a Nice long hot bath either with a bath bomb or bath salts depending on my mood. I recently had the opportunity to work with a company called the San Francisco Bath Salt Company who sent me one of their Sleep Lavender Bath Salts along with a small sample sized bath salt. What is the benefit of their Lavender bath salts? It is a therapeutic bath salt for relaxation and promoting a good night's sleep,It also soothes muscle aches and pains.

I spend anywhere from 5-9 hours a day on my feet when I am at my day job so the day this arrived I was ready to jump in the bath & test it out. The packaged arrived fast & came with a little sample bath salt of another scent which I found to be thoughtful & a great way to gain returning customers. The product itself has a nice purple tint to it which can be seen above,& It has a wonderful smell that fills the bathroom when I use it.So far I have only tried a little handful at a time which helps me relax after a hard day but I would also like to try their Therapy Bath & Shower Salt suggestions they have on their website,To achieve the Shower salt you Take a small handful and massage gently onto wet skin to exfoliate your skin. Or, sprinkle a small amount onto the shower floor to cleanse your feet while making your bathroom smell wonderful & that is saying something because I normally do not like the smell of Lavender. Putting on the shower floor sounds wonderful to me! If the man in your life is anything like my Husband he refuses to use girly scented bath salts but the San Francisco Bath Salt Company has a solution for that they carry a selection for men & a selection of children's bath salts so they have something for everyone & salts to help with various pains,skin issues,ect. I have enjoyed working with this company their bath salts are both useful & effective I plan on heading back to their store to try other scents once my Lavender bath salt is gone. Foxgloves Review

When I was in middle school I had a small obsession with arm warmers/fingerless gloves now that I am older I generally only wear them during the winter to keep my arms warm but I still enjoy finding a good pair that fits properly,looks nice & protects my arms from the weather. I recently came across a site called FoxGloves which sells a wonderful assortment of Arm warmers & Gloves.Foxgloves are fun & simple handmade fingerless gloves, available in a variety of colors & patterns, fashioned from comfortable stretch fabrics.

For a Recent review I received a pair of Sailor Stripes the description from the website is fun & cheerful it is as follows "Classic black & white stripes, ever in style. Cute don't you think?  The gloves arrived fast & in good condition instead of coming bunched up they were on an arm shaped sturdy piece of thin card board to make sure the gloves keep their shape & keep shipping costs down. The gloves are stretchy,fit comfortably up past my elbow,& look great I didn't have any issue getting the fingerless gloves up past my elbow which is always a good thing. Though the cool weather has past here I look forward to wearing this during winter this year! Me4Kidz Review

It never fails every time I paint my nails my daughter asks me to paint hers as well, I am happy she would like me to paint her nails the only problem I have is that most nail polish bottles contain harsh chemicals not suitable  for children,The smell alone isn't something I want on my daughters small finger nails. When a company called Me4Kidz asked me to do a review of their nailbuddy I couldn't refuse.

My nailbuddy arrived in a shorter amount of time than I had expected which I was both very happy with & impressed. What is included in the nailbuddy? Our experience went well the nail polish went on smoothly and had a nice color to it,there were no harsh smells from this nail polish which I appreciate. When I was a kid & even now as an adult when I try to use Nail appliques I run into a problem or two such as them sticking to the sheet,not showing up right,or not sticking like they should but the flower appliques that came in this kit were easy to apply,stick nicely to the nail & look great. The removal process was also easy just lift up a corner & the nail polish peels right off no nail polish remover needed. We both enjoy this kit & I would be more than happy to give similar kits away as Birthday presents,Easter gifts & more.

My daughter has a fun time playing with these cards we can play different games such as guessing the number based on how many animals are on the card,matching the cards up to the same number,putting them in order,counting forward & backward each set is a great way to spend time with your child while teaching them something valuable.Other card games my daughter would lose interest within the first few minutes but this keeps her entertained for much longer which is always an added bonus.
